Rants & Raves: UNLV Edition
LARAMIE -- They say some pictures are worth a thousand words.
Look no further than the main art on this week's Rants and Raves.

These two ladies, along with more than 19,000 other Wyoming fans, sat through hail, lightning, wind and rain Saturday night in Laramie, watching their beloved Cowboys drop their third straight game after a promising 2-0 start to the season.
The offense, once again, was mostly a no-show. The defense did it's part, aside from giving up extended scoring drives in the first and fourth quarter. There was absolutely nothing special at all about Wyoming's special team's unit in this one, particularly when it comes to punt protection.
Twice punter Bart Edmiston basically had a kick taken right off his right foot only to see a UNLV player scoop and score. Two other times, the same thing nearly happened.
Two touchdowns allowed. Two-touchdown loss.
The Cowboys did nearly made this a seven-point game with 4:01 remaining in the third quarter. Kaden Anderson rolled to his left and found a wide-open Sam Scott who strolled into the end zone from six yards out.
The celebration was short-lived. The yellow hankies on the white playing surface put a halt to that.
Tight end Evan Svoboda was flagged for pass interference, wiping that score off the board and sending the Cowboys back to the 21. On the very next snap, Wyoming's sophomore signal caller badly under threw his intended target and was picked off by Quandarius Keyes.
Ball game.
"I can't imagine what people are saying right now. I can't imagine," a somber Anderson said postgame. "I just want to say, trust me. Keep having faith in me, man. I know the fans are pissed. We're pissed, too."
It was as bad as it sounds. As you'll see below, the temperature of this fanbase was much warmer than it was inside War Memorial Stadium:
