The Ivinson Memorial Hospital Board of Directors in Laramie voted not to join with Wyoming Medical Center in Casper and Cheyenne Regional Medical Center to become a founding member of the "Wyoming Solution" health care network.

Leigh West Vice-President of Marketing and Communications at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center  says the  decision by Ivinson won't have a major effect on the partnership.

West says the goals of the partnership are to reduce health care costs and increase quality of care in an effort to keep patients in Wyoming instead of being referred out of state.

Meanwhile Ivinson Memorial Hospital is considering partnerships with several health care firms in Colorado.
