‘In God We Trust’ Bill Dies In Wyoming Senate
A bill that would have called for the motto ''In God We Trust" to be prominently displayed in school lobbies and state government buildings around the state died in the Wyoming Senate this week after passing the state House.
House Bill 133 failed to be introduced on Wednesday afternoon in time for it to receive three readings in the Senate, effectively killing the measure for this session.
The motto displays would have been donated by private citizens through the Wyoming Governor's office. The bill was originally sponsored by Goshen County Republican Rep. Cheri Steinmetz, It had passed the house on a 46-10 margin on third reading.
