I-25 Road Work to Impact Cheyenne Traffic Beginning Wednesday

Drivers on southbound Interstate 25 in Cheyenne should be prepared for lane closures this week as Wyoming Department of Transportation crews repair the bridge deck over Missile Drive.

Work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 14 and 15, weather permitting.​

"During construction, the driving lane of I-25 will be closed in the work area, as will Exit 10D," said WYDOT spokesman Matt Murphy.

"As a result, drivers wishing to use that exit will be routed to Exit 9 and then back on I-25 northbound to the interchange," he added.

Murphy says the exit ramp to Gate 2 at F.E. Warren Air Force Base will remain open.
