Hot Weather Forecast In SE Wyoming, Monsoon Rains Possible Later
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is forecasting warm to hot weather over the next couple of days, with monsoon rains possible towards the end of the week.
The agency posted the following on its website:
"Dry weather and climbing temperatures expected across southeast Wyoming and Nebraska Panhandle through Thursday. That begins to change Friday as we see another surge of monsoonal moisture moving into the area from the southwest. Showers and thunderstorms return to the forecast Friday through the weekend for most locations, especially southeast Wyoming. Panhandle locations may see evening storms as they move off the Laramie Range and dissipate in the Panhandle during the evening hours. Stay tuned, we'll keep you informed!"
