People are going to drink, and some get 'dog-runnin' drunk. Many have woke up the next morning with a killer hanger over and do what they can to rid their selves of it. Today on the Top 5 at 7:45, I'll highlight some of the top foods and drinks that you absolutely should not drink if you wake up with a hang over.

  1. More Alcohol - We've heard it from the outhouse 'experts' that if you want to kill a hangover, then drink more booze. Wrong! This will tax your system even further and you will find yourself feeling far worse after the 'numbing' wears off.
  2. Orange Juice - When hungover, citrus acid can destroy you.
  3. Cups Upon Cups of Coffee - A reasonable strong cup of coffee or two is good, but you don't need 5 cups lest you suffer from dehydration.
  4. Breakfast Sandwiches - Bacon, egg and cheese is a whole days worth of fats. Do the biological math on this one.
  5. Diner Foods - You know how it is, folks get drunk and now we head to Denny's or Village Inn. Bad idea. Greasy food is not good to consume when you have been drinking. Alcohol is passed through the same metabolic pathways as fats. When you're body is trying to break down the alcohol and laying aside the fats, it's too much for your system to handle.
