It doesn't matter if you have a student in school or not, you can help your favorite high school or Alma mater win in the Blood Drive Challenge the week of Feb 2, 2015.Who will bring in the most donors this year? That is the big question as high school students from East, Central and South get together to help promote their school in this years High School Blood Drive Challenge.

Every year people in our community get injured and with many of those injuries, blood is required. This is where you come in. Janet Falk, Director for United Blood Services, is asking the community to participate in this years drive.

The practical part is helping people in our community. The fun part is picking your favorite Cheyenne high school in raising units of blood. Which ever school gets the most units of blood receives a trophy.

According to Jim Wilson, Donor Recruiter for the drive, kids are learning about responsibility and that you don't always get paid for doing good things.

The public will be able to participate in this event on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 12 to 6 p.m.

For more information about the drive and to schedule an appointment, please call Janet, or one of her staff members at 307-638-3326.
