Heavy Snow Possible In SE Wyoming Mountains, Strong Winds Elsewhere
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says heavy snow and strong winds are possible across much of southeast Wyoming over the next couple of days.
The agency posted the following on its website:
4 AM 12/8 - Winter Weather Advisory in effect for the Snowy and Sierra Madre mountains from today until Saturday morning. ❄️Total snow accumulations 5 to 10 inches expected with isolated 12+ inches possible in the Sierra Madre Mountains. ⛅️For the latest forecast, go to weather.gov/cys #wywx
High Wind Watches have been issued for wind prone areas of southeast Wyoming starting Saturday night and continuing to Sunday night. West wind gusts 65 to 70 mph are possible.
