I first spoke with Harriet Hegeman over the phone when we both rushed to help Andy Johnson, a Wyoming man who was fighting alone against the EPA.

During the course of my radio interview with her, I learned I was speaking with a woman who had fought against government agencies more than once- and won.

She is a Cheyenne water rights attorney. (Yes, there is a lawyer who handles cases like this.)

Despite many court cases won, there was the impression that the war itself was being lost.

Perhaps, a better way might be to fight from the inside.

Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, Harriet Hegeman and I finally met in person in the lobby of Townsquare media in Cheyenne. She followed me down the hall to the AM 650 KGAB studio where she joined me on air to explain why she wants to be governor of Wyoming.
