Albany County Sheriff's deputies and firefighters were kept busy with no less than four grass fires on Tuesday afternoon.

That's according to a post on the Albany County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

According to the post, the first fire was along Two Rivers Road. Additional blazes broke out along US Highway 30 between mileposts 313 and 310.

This Is Wyoming. We Help Our Neighbors.

And according to the post, in typical Wyoming fashion, a concerned citizen pitched in to help: "A Good Samaritan stopped to help deputies on scene, proof that around here, neighbors still show up when it matters most."

The post goes on to say "And in case you didn’t know… Deputy Lundahl’s patrol unit apparently comes with an unexpected upgrade package, it pulled double duty as a wildland fire engine, and we’re considering adding “fire suppression specialist” to his resume (along with Astronaut- see April 1st post)".

The agency is also reminding people that it's fire season, and people should be careful with anything that might start a fire
