Early Morning Fire Causes $29K In Damage

A fire at an unoccupied business outbuilding early Friday caused $29,385 in damage.

Firefighters were called to the 300  block of east 15th shortly after 2 a.m., arriving on the scene at 2:09 a.m. They found the two story light industrial building engulfed in heavy flames and smoke.

The fire was under control by 2:20 a.m., and firefighters left the scene at 3:50 a.m.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
