Driver Killed After Rolling SUV on I-25 Near Glendo
A man is dead after rolling his SUV on Interstate 25 near Glendo, the Wyoming Highway Patrol says.
The crash happened around 10:05 a.m. yesterday, Aug. 8, at milepost 109.8, about a mile south of the Glendo exit.
According to a fatality crash summary, 62-year-old Colorado resident David Savory was headed south in the left-hand lane when he failed to negotiate a right-hand curve and lost control of his BMW X5, rolling it in the ditch.
Savory was not properly wearing his seat belt and died from his injuries.
The summary lists driver inattention as a possible contributing factor.
This is the 83rd fatality on Wyoming's highways in 2023 compared to 67 in 2022, 66 in 2021, 71 in 2020, and 102 in 2019 to date.
