Carpenter Man Accused of Punching Male in the Face 20 Times
A 28-year-old Carpenter man is facing felony charges after allegedly punching a male in the face 20 times.
According to a booking sheet, it all started around 2:14 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, after a Laramie County Sheriff's corporal was dispatched to an assault.
The corporal says Macario Milagro Alvarado entered the address without permission and beat up a male, causing disfigurement to his face.
A Broken Nose, Cut Eye, Swollen Lips, and 2 Loose Teeth
"Alvarado punched (him) in the face approximately 20 times," the corporal said. "This resulted in a broken nose, cut eye, swollen lips, and two loose teeth."
The corporal says Alvarado also punched, pushed, smeared blood, and exposed the breast of his ex-girlfriend of 12 years.
Alvarado was arrested at his home in the 3900 block of Blue Sky Road at 9:17 a.m. the following morning and taken to the Laramie County Detention Center without issue.
Alvarado Hit With 2 Felony Charges
Alvarado was subsequently charged with aggravated burglary - attempts to inflict bodily injury, a felony punishable by five to 25 years in prison, up to a $50,000 fine, or both, and aggravated assault and battery - causes or attempts to cause serious bodily injury, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
He was also charged with misdemeanor domestic battery.
Bond Set at $5K Cash
Alvarado made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Thursday, Oct. 17, during which his bond was set at $5,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 24 at 3:30 p.m.
