
$5K Cash Bond Set for Pine Bluffs Man Charged With Strangulation
A 43-year-old Pine Bluffs man is facing a felony charge after allegedly strangling a household member.
Arrested on Warrant
According to a booking sheet, Josiah Micah Riparetti was arrested at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13 after a Laramie County Sheriff's deputy was notified that Riparetti, a local ranch hand, had an active warrant and located him at his place of employment.

The deputy says Riparetti's warrant was for strangulation of a household member, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, misdemeanor domestic battery, and misdemeanor reckless endangering with a firearm.
The deputy says Laramie County Circuit Court Judge Sean C. Chambers signed the warrant on Wednesday, Feb. 12.
Riparetti was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center and booked without incident.
Bond Set at $5K Cash
Riparetti made his initial appearance in Circuit Court on Friday, Feb. 14, during which his bond was set at $5,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 9:45 a.m.
