A 38-year-old Cheyenne man posted bond and left jail Monday, hours after turning himself in on drug possession charges.

According to a booking sheet, Richard David Munoz Jr. turned himself in at the Laramie County Detention Center at 12:08 a.m. on Monday.

2 Felonies & 2 Misdemeanors

Munoz had a warrant out of Laramie County Circuit Court for two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance - third or subsequent offense, misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Judge Antoinette Williams signed the warrant on Oct. 28, 2024.

Munoz was seen on the charges Monday morning in Circuit Court.

His bond was set at $2,000 cash, which he posted, and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 10:30 a.m.
