A 41-year-old Cheyenne woman with a history of stealing things has been charged with four counts of felony theft.

According to a booking sheet, on Friday, March 28, Desiree Renee Pantoja was served with a warrant out of Laramie County Circuit Court for four counts of theft - fifth or subsequent offense, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.

Judge Sean C. Chambers signed the warrant.

Bond Set at $5K Cash

On Monday, March 31, Pantoja was seen in Circuit Court on the charges.

Her bond was set at $5,000 cash and her preliminary hearing was scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, at 3 p.m.

Probation Violation

The same day, Laramie County District Court Judge Catherine R. Rogers signed a warrant for Pantoja for probation violation with the original charge being felony theft.

Inmate Pantoja was served with the warrant the following morning.
