Cooling Trend, Snow In Southeast Wyoming Forecast For Next Few Days
It looks like southeast Wyoming residents can expect some light snow and a general cooling trend over the next few days.
That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on its website this morning [Jan. 3]:
Today may be the last mild day for a while as a weather pattern change is expected over the next few days. Overall, we will have a gradual cooling trend through Monday, with occasional light snow chances. 🌁The first system tonight into early Friday will bring fog in from the east, plus areas of flurries and/or freezing drizzle. ❄️ The next system Sunday into Monday may bring areas of light snow to the High Plains, but uncertainty is still fairly high at this lead time. 🏔️ The mountains will have chances for snow nearly every day for the next week, but overall totals are expected to be fairly modest.
