Colorado Man Has Accepted Plea in Capitol Riots
A Colorado man charged for his participation in the riots on January 6th, 2021 at the United States Capitol building has accepted a plea agreement today, August 9th, 2021.
The man, Glenn Wes Lee Croy of Colorado Springs, has officially pleaded guilty to parading, demonstrating or picketing in a capitol building during a court hearing in Washington D.C.
Croy has also pleaded guilty to counts of entering and remaining in a restricted building, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building, as well as violent entry and disorderly conduct in a capitol building.

Croy's final court date at which he will be sentenced is set for Friday, October 9th at 12 p.m.
Although Croy has been identified as one of the insurrectionists that forcibly entered the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. on January 6th, it would appear that the plea deal will only require him to pay $500 in restitution as long as he agrees to aid authorities in their investigation of the events that took place that day.
Croy was spotted on both photo and video inside the Capitol that day dressing up a statue of former president Abraham Lincoln in a hat and glasses after following the mob that forced its way into the government building.
Additional footage of Croy inside the Capitol Building was obtained by the FBI via body cameras, which has also been submitted to the United States Federal Government with regards to his pending case revolving around the January 6th insurrection.
Croy has also stated on his Twitter account that he was in fact at the Capitol on the day of the insurrection.
