UPDATE: Interstates 80 and 25 in Wyoming are now open across the state.

The latest wave of winter weather to blast Wyoming has resulted in some closures and restrictions on Interstates 80 and 25, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation [WYDOT].

As of 5 a.m., I-25 was closed between Casper and Buffalo. An additional "no unnecessary travel" warning was posted for I-25 between Cheyenne and Chugwater.

Meanwhile, the eastbound lane of Interstate 80 was closed between exit 18 and Evanston due to a crash. Interstate 80 was closed in both directions to light, high profile vehicles between Laramie and Walcott Junction due to strong winds, slick conditions, and extreme blow-over risk.
