The City of Cheyenne is hosting an open house on the West Edge Project today from 4 until 7 pm in Room 116 of the Municipal Building.

City Special Projects Director Bob Bradshaw says the event will give people a chance to see the draft project recommendations and make sure city staff have been hearing what residents think about the project.

The West Edge Project is designed to mitigate storm water, manage brownfields, create civic amenities and revitalize the Capitol Basin Area, according to Bradshaw. He also says members of the Cheyenne City Council have been invited to the open house
