A Cheyenne freshman has been invited to participate in Certiport’s Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Championship after receiving the highest score in Wyoming on a Word 2016 exam.

Central High School's Bethanie Hackett will compete against top students from around the nation June 21-23, 2021, in Orlando, Florida.

The National Championship will feature six different test categories, and winners will be invited to represent the U.S. at the 2021 Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship in Orlando Aug. 1-4.

Certiport is a certified exam provider, with authorized testing centers worldwide. Their certifications help high school students earn recognized credentials for job attainment and college and career success.
