Cheyenne Woman Gets Probation for Child Porn
A 36-year-old Cheyenne woman has been sentenced to five years of supervised probation for possessing child pornography.
Angel King, who was facing up to ten years in prison, was sentenced Monday in Laramie County District Court.
King was convicted in December of a single count of possession of child pornography. The jury did not, however, find her guilty of two counts of aiding and abetting second-degree sexual abuse of a minor.
As a result of her sentencing, King must now register as a sex offender.
King's boyfriend, Clinton Woods, was convicted of one count of third-degree and three counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor in July and was sentenced to 14 to 20 years in prison in October.
The 35-year-old filed a notice of appeal in December and has until next month to file his appeal with the Supreme Court of Wyoming.
