Delta Kappa Gamma Announces Dates For 2026 Used Book Sale
Delta Kappa Gamma has announced the dates for the 2026 Cheyenne DKG used book sale.
The event is a long-time Cheyenne tradition, raising money for educational organizations.
It's been held every year since 1983 except for 2021 during the COVID pandemic. Typically it's an early March event, held at various locations around Cheyenne, ranging from schools to the locations of closed businesses, among others.
This year's event is slated for the former location of Joanne Fabrics in the Frontier Mall.
But this year's even will be a little later than in years past. Kathie Selden of DKG earlier this month told us "The sale will be in the former Joanne Fabrics in the Frontier Mall, but there was a bad flood there recently. We will not be able to move in until the facility is completely refurbished and ready. We are not sure when that will be, so please save your books to donate. The hope is that it will still be in March."
Those dates have now been finalized, according to Selden.
So What are the 2026 dates?
Selden says the dates will be over two weekends, March 7th and 8th and March 14th and 15th. According to the event website the hours are as follows:
Saturdays 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Sunday (3/8) 9:00 am to 4 pm
Last day Sunday, March 15th 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Donations of used books will be accepted starting on February 2 and running through March 1. You can find out more about how to donate here.
