Large Hail, Damaging Winds, Isolated Tornado Possible In SE Wyoming
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says severe storms featuring strong winds and large hail are possible in southeast Wyoming today.
Weaker storms are also possible across southeast Wyoming.
There is also the possibility of an isolated tornado.
The agency posted the following on it's website:
There is a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) for severe weather this afternoon across western Nebraska and far southeastern Wyoming. Isolated large hail and damaging winds are the primary concern with storms this afternoon, but an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. Severe storms are anticipated to be widely scattered, but weaker storms are likely everywhere. The strongest storms are expected between 2PM and 9PM, but showers and weaker storms will continue throughout the night. Nighttime severe weather is not anticipated. Be weather aware today and have multiple ways to receive warnings!
