Cheyenne PB&J Burglar Waives Preliminary Hearing
A Cheyenne man charged with three counts of burglary after police matched his DNA to a partially eaten peanut butter and jelly sandwich left at the crime scene has waived his preliminary hearing.
Twenty-five-year-old Zachary Munoz is accused of breaking into 4 Rivers Equipment on three separate occasions in early September and stealing thousands of dollars worth of Stihl power tools.
Munoz is facing up to 30 years in prison if convicted on all three counts.
Munoz is being held in the Laramie County Detention Center on $5,000 cash bond. His arraignment date has not yet been scheduled.
