Cheyenne Murder Suspect Arrested In Nebraska
Armando Ramirez-Serna has been arrested in Nebraska, according to a release from the Kimball County, Neb. Sheriff's Department.
Ramirez-Serna was arrested on a warrant for first-degree murder in Laramie County in connection with the shooting death of 19-year-old Justin Robinson of Cheyenne. Ramirez is also charged with first-degree arson.
Robinson's body was found in a reservoir on the Hereford Ranch near Cheyenne last Sunday. Investigators say Robinson died from a single gunshot wound to the head. A burned vehicle believed to be related to the case was found not far away. Ramirez-Serna was arrested at the First Interstate Inn on Interstate 80 and Highway 71 in Kimball at about 5 p.m. on Saturday after the sheriff's department got a tip about his whereabouts.
The Kimball Police Department and Nebraska State Patrol helped with the arrest.
Ramirez-Serna's girlfriend, Raquel Rodriguez, was also arrested on related charges. Ramirez-Serna is being held in the Kimball County jail pending extradition.
