Cheyenne Man on ‘Most Wanted’ List Captured After Months on the Run
A 30-year-old Cheyenne man who's been on the Laramie County Sheriff's Office's "Most Wanted" list since May 13 is now behind bars.
According to a booking sheet, police arrested Sergio Dijon Taylor Sr. at Interstate 180 and East 5th Street at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 25.

2 Warrants
Taylor was being sought on two warrants.
The first was for domestic battery - third offense, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.
It's alleged that on or about March 22, Taylor, who was previously convicted of domestic battery on March 24, 2017, and Jan. 26, 2024, caused bodily injury to another household member.
The second was for probation violation.
It's alleged that on or about July 26, 2024, Taylor was placed on probation after being charged with domestic battery and violation of a protection order and violated the conditions of his probation by being in contact with the victim and obtaining additional charges.
Initial Court Appearance
On Tuesday, Aug. 26, Taylor was seen in Laramie County Circuit Court in front of Judge Antoinette Williams on the charges.
Williams appointed Taylor a public defender and asked for the state's position regarding bond.
"Mr. Taylor has an extensive history, not only when it comes to domestic battery-related charges, but specifically concerning this victim," the state said.
"That history gives the state concern for the victim's safety as well as Mr. Taylor's ability to comply with court orders ... especially in light of the significant underlying penalty, now that we have reached a felony domestic violence," the state added. "For those reasons, the state would request $5,000 cash."
Bond Set at $5K Cash
Williams set Taylor's bond at $5,000 cash and his preliminary hearing and revocation arraignment were set for Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 3 p.m.
Please remember that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
