Cheyenne Man Wanted for Stealing $4,600 in Rent Money [VIDEO]

The Laramie County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding 24-year-old Peter Hernandez.

"He has a felony warrant for theft," said Sheriff's spokesman Brandon Warner.

"An apartment complex manager was collecting rent and had $4,600 on a table," added Warner.  "Hernandez grabbed it, ran off, they chased him out and he got away."

Hernandez is a 5-foot-8 male weighing 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.​

Anyone with information on Hernandez's current whereabouts is asked to call the Laramie County Combined Communications Center at (307) 637-6524 or Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS.

"Let's work together to get this person off the streets," said Warner.
