Cheyenne Man Gets 3-5 Years for Stealing Sheriff’s Car
A Cheyenne man who stole an unmarked Laramie County Sheriff's Department car that had guns in the trunk is headed to prison.
Thirty-three-year-old Senio Nuu was sentenced Monday in Laramie County District Court to three to five years in prison.
Nuu was initially charged with aggravated burglary, which carries a minimum sentence of five years, but the charge was reduced to felony theft as part of a plea deal.
Nuu's accomplice, 26-year-old Tevin Taylor, is awaiting sentencing on a charge of possession of stolen property and accessory after the fact.
Authorities are still seeking information on a department-issued AR-15 that was in the car when it was stolen.
