"There were no injuries reported in the isolated incident and (there is) no ongoing threat to public safety," Public Information Officer Brandon Warner said in a news release on Monday.

Because the incident is still under investigation, Warner could not say who Lyle allegedly shot at.

"We're not releasing any additional information at this time," Warner told KGAB Radio.

As of mid-Monday afternoon, Lyle had yet to be formally charged.
