Waves Of Cooler, Wetter Weather To Hit SE Wyoming This Week
It looks like southeast Wyoming residents can expect cooler, wetter weather over the next few days and into the weekend.
That will hopefully include some much needed precipitation, with both rain and snow in the forecast for Cheyenne and Laramie. It's also good news in terms of dampening what has been a critically high fire danger that prompted Red Flag Warnings across the region.

That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. Here are the agency's forecasts for Cheyenne and Laramie over the next few days:

Today
A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 52. Breezy, with a northeast wind 10 to 20 mph becoming south southeast in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.
Tonight
A 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34. Breezy, with a south southeast wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Wednesday
Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 3pm. High near 53. South southeast wind around 15 mph becoming north in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Showers likely before midnight. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 33. North wind 10 to 15 mph becoming west after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
