Cheyenne Regional Medical Center will host a free men's health event on Saturday, April 28.

The health fair is slated for  7 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the hospital auditorium at 214 East 23rd. St. The first 200 men to show up will be offered a free blood draw to test for lipids, testosterone, glucose and the prostate-specific antigen [PSA].

Those who plan to do the tests should not eat or drink anything except water for at least eight hours before the blood draw. Medications should still be taken as prescribed. Information on lung, testicular, prostate and colorectal screenings will also be available, in addition to free stool-testing kits and low-cost radon-testing kits.

The event is being sponsored by the Cheyenne Regional Cancer Center, the Wyoming Institute of Population Health, Prostate Conditions Education Council and Wyoming Cancer Resource Services.
