Cheyenne Sanitation Schedule For New Year’s Holiday Announced

City of Cheyenne sanitation facilities will close at noon on New Year's Eve [Dec. 31], but trash pickup will go on as scheduled, according to a news release from the city.

According to the release, the following facilities will be closing at noon:

"The Solid Waste Transfer Station & Sanitation Division Office and Household Hazardous Waste (220 N College Dr.)

Happy Jack Landfill (1416 Happy Jack Rd.)

The Compost Facility (3714 Windmill Rd.)"

Residential and recycling pickup usually scheduled for Thursday will be conducted on Friday, Jan. 2
