Cheyenne Fire Crews Battle House Fire While Saving Dogs, Reptiles

Cheyenne firefighters rescued seven dogs, two lizards and multiple snakes while battling a house fire on Division Avenue Friday.

"(The) fire was challenging due to higher outside temperatures and the advanced fire conditions upon arrival," Laramie County Fire District #1 said on their Facebook page.

LCFD#1 says crews from multiple units used two hydrants, multiple hand lines and a defensive strategy to put out the fire.

"All the occupants are safe," they said.
