Cheyenne East was looking to rebound from a loss last week to Thunder Basin and ended up taking out their frustrations out on Cheyenne South on Friday night. The Thunderbirds put 2 touchdowns on the board in the first quarter. The first one a 46yard run to the end zone from Christian Anderton. The 2nd, a 60-yard pass from Graeden Buell to OX Schroeder.

East came up with 3 more touchdowns in the 2nd quarter as Buell threw a 23 yard Td pass to Jake Rayl, Anderton scored his 2nd touchdown of the game and Chance Aumiller caught a 24-yard pass for 6. Sandwiched between that was a South TD from Macarius Wright but at halftime, the Bison were down 35-7

Cheyenne East had a big 3rd quarter as Aumiller and Anderton scored again along with Colton Haugen. Anderton finished with 148 yards rushing and East was well over the 400-yard mark in total offense as they get to 3-1, thanks to a 55-7 win over Cheyenne South. East this week will travel to Casper for a big game with Natrona. The South Bison at 0-4 will host Rock Springs this week.
