Cheyenne East Art Teacher Will Be On ‘Jeopardy’ Tonight

Tonight's the night for Dave Rowswell. The East High art teacher recently competed on the long-running game show Jeopardy! and the episode will air tonight on KGWN Channel 5 at 6:30 p.m.

Rowswell has been a fan of the show for years. After applying online, he was flown to New York for an interview and given another test. Eventually, he was one of 15 instructors selected for the annual Jeopardy! Teacher's Tournament, which was filmed several months ago in Burbank, Calif. Although show producers have sworn him to secrecy, Rowswell did drop a hint about the outcome.

"I was really impressed with the breadth of knowledge people had,” he told the Wyoming Tribune Eagle.

Does that mean he lost? We'll find out tonight. According to an online preview, one of the questions is about Wyoming's Devils Tower Monument. Let's hope Mr. Rowswell gets that one right.
