Cheyenne Police Announce Arrest In Sun Valley Auto Burglaries
A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a string of car burglaries last month in the Sun Valley area.
Cheyenne Police spokeswoman Alex Farkas says Anthony Graham was arrested on six counts of burglary and two counts of aggravated burglary in connection with a string of burglaries in which items stolen ranged from firearms to wallets to electronics.
Farkas says evidence ranging from DNA to interviews to items recovered using search warrants led to Graham's arrest. Both firearms stolen in the burglaries have been recovered.
Stolen Apple AirPods Were Tracked To Near The Suspect's Home
One break in the case happened when the owner of a pair of stolen Apple AirPods was able to track the device and inform detectives over a period of several weeks about their location. The AirPods were repeatedly traced to near Graham's residence.
Graham was arrested at the city courthouse on June 23rd, where he was appearing on an unrelated case. He was booked into the Laramie County Jail following the arrest.
Farkas says Cheyenne Police Detectives are continuing to investigate the case.
