Cheney Says GOP Has Technology Gap
Fox News Correspondent Liz Cheney says the Republican Party needs to do a better job of using social media and make more of An effort to get GOP voters to the polls if it is to win future national elections.
Cheney, who is the daughter of former Vice President and Wyoming congressman Dick Cheney, told a crowd of several hundred people at Little America in Cheyenne Friday that most Americans are receptive to the Republican message of low taxes, smaller government and a strong national defense. But she says Democrats were far better in 2012 at using social media to get their message out, adding that Republicans ran their media campaign "as if it was 2006".
She also says President Obama's campaign in particular did a great job of getting their voters to the polls. But one things she says Republicans don't need to do is move to the left politically, adding that "most people who say we should do that are democrats".
