Chamber hosts Feb. 16 breakfast with local legislators
CHEYENNE - The Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Eggs and Issues breakfast on Thursday, Feb. 16 where local legislators will discuss legislation impacting the community.
The Eggs and Issues breakfast starts at 6:30 am at the Historic Plains Hotel ballroom. The cost is $20 for Chamber members and $25 for non-members. "This breakfast is a tremendous opportunity for the public to hear information about legislation that will be presented during this legislative session, said Linda Weppner, Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce board member serving as vice president of the military and governmental division of the board. "We are very fortunate to have our legislators available at the breakfast to discuss the issues and answer questions for the attendees."
Confirmed legislators include: Sen. Fred Emerich, Sen. Floyd Esquibel, Sen. Wayne Johnson, Sen. Leslie Nutting, Rep. Jim Byrd, Rep. Pete Illoway, Rep. Bob Nicolas, and Rep. Mary Throne.
The Wyoming Legislature is a budget session, which started Feb. 13, 2012.
