Car Vandals Strike West Cheyenne Neighborhood Again

Folks living near Pioneer Park Elementary School woke up Wednesday to find their car windows shot out.

It was just last week that at least seven vehicles in the west Cheyenne neighborhood had their windows shot out with a BB gun​.

Police spokesman Officer Kevin Malatesta says it's "too hard to say" whether the incidents are related.

"It's a similar crime taking place in the same neighborhood and in the same way, but to say that it's the same people, at this point, probably difficult," he said.

Malatesta is asking anyone with information about the vandalisms to contact police.

"Be aware that this crime is occurring in your neighborhood," he said.  "If you hear a window breaking or see something suspicious in your neighborhood please go check on it immediately and let us know if there's any suspects or suspect information that can help us in solving these crimes."
