The Parsley Boulevard bridge over Interstate 80 in Cheyenne will be closed to northbound traffic beginning mid-week, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation.

Work to repair the bridge began Monday, and is expected to be completed on or around Thursday, Sept. 26, weather permitting.

WYDOT says lane closures are also in effect on westbound I-80. The work will not affect traffic on eastbound I-80 and southbound Parsley Boulevard.

The bridge was struck by a commercial vehicle in the last year, necessitating the repairs.
