Blowing Snow Expected In Southeast Wyoming
The following statement has been issued by the Cheyenne office of the National Weather Service:
"Some light snow is expected later today through this evening. Precipitation will likely begin as rain or rain & snow mix across the lower elevations, but will eventually change to snow. Accumulations will generally be light as the snow bands will rapidly move eastward. However, portions of Interstate 80 between Rawlins and Cheyenne and the northern Nebraska panhandle may see locally higher amounts with some blowing snow later today. Winter Weather Advisories may be expanded to include these locations. Please monitor your latest forecasts today and tonight as some travel impacts are possible."
