It's the little things, like not paying traffic tickets, that get you in trouble.

Monday afternoon, a Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper stopped a Butte, Mont., man for doing 84 mph in a 75 mph zone eastbound on Interstate 90 six miles north of Sheridan, according to a news release from Patrol Sgt. David Wagener.

Zachary W. Carter, 26, was on his way from Butte to Louisiana.

A check of the license of revealed he had two warrants out for his arrest in Campbell County for traffic violations.

The trooper arrested Carter, took him into custody, and found drug paraphernalia on him.

More searching uncovered nearly a pound of high-grade marijuana in the motorcycle's saddle bag.

Carter was arrested for the traffic violations and felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

The case has been turned over to the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.
