Baggs Man Killed in Rollover Accident

A Baggs man is dead following a rollover accident east of Baggs early Saturday morning.

Wyoming Highway Patrol Sergeant David Wagener says 54-year-old David Burnell was driving his pickup eastbound on Wyoming State Highway 70 approximately 28 miles east of Baggs when he failed to negotiate a right hand curve and rolled his truck.

Burnell, who was not wearing his seat belt, was ejected and died on scene.

Alcohol use and inattentive driving are being investigated as contributing factors in the crash.
