Alcohol Possible Factor in Deadly Teton County Crash
The Wyoming Highway Patrol says alcohol may have contributed to a deadly rollover east of Moran Junction Sunday afternoon.
Sgt. Jeremy Beck says the crash happened around 1:56 p.m. at milepost 12 on U.S. 26.
Beck says 33-year-old Avery Rogers, of Jackson, was headed west at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his Subaru Outback and rolled it multiple times.
Rogers was buckled up, but died at the scene.
Beck says driver inattention and alcohol use are being investigated as possible contributing factors.
