The Laramie County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding whoever stole two roping saddles from the Lummis Ranch southeast of Cheyenne.

Sheriff's spokesman Brandon Warner says the saddles, which are valued at $6,500, were stolen from a shop building on the property sometime between Jan. 16 and the morning of Jan. 17.

"One saddle is a brown leather 13-inch seat G Bar G roping saddle with custom stirrups with "diamond S" branded into the leather," said Warner. "The other is a brown leather Rios 15-inch roping saddle with "2943" branded into it."

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS. Callers will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
