The Laramie County Sheriff's Office says it arrested a 60-year-old Cheyenne man on burglary charges after finding him with stolen items and burglary tools.

That's according to a post on the Laramie County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

A Suspicious Person Call Led To The Arrest

According to the post, deputies got a call at around 4:20 p.m. on March 18 about a suspicious person in the 4800 Block of South Industrial Road. When they got there, they found 60-year-old Jeffery Tharp [above photo].

Tharp allegedly had burglary tools and items stolen from a local business. He was booked on charges of Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, and Property destruction

As always, keep in mind that the charges are merely allegations until and unless the suspect is convicted in court.

The sheriff's office is reminding people to always report suspicious activities and people to law enforcement.

University of Wyoming’s Top 50 Football Players

During the summer of 2021, 7220Sports.com counted down the Top 50 football players in University of Wyoming history, presented by Premier Bone & Joint Centers, Worthy of Wyoming.

The rules are simple: What was the player's impact while in Laramie? That means NFL stats, draft status or any other accolade earned outside of UW is irrelevant when it comes to this list.

This isn't a one-man job. This task called for a panel of experts. Joining 7220's Cody Tucker are Robert GagliardiJared NewlandRyan Thorburn, and Kevin McKinney.

We all compiled our own list of 50 and let computer averages do the work. Think BCS -- only we hope this catalog is fairer.
