Looking for something fun and different? Why not book a night or two at a bed & breakfast in and around Cheyenne? Here are some places you may like.  Bed and Breakfast stays can be a fun way to spend an evening with that special someone. Today on the Top 5 at 7:45, I'll highlight some local Bed & Breakfast Houses in and around the Capitol City.

  1. Nagle Warren Mansion Bed & Breakfast - This is located in the historical area of downtown Cheyenne. It is beautiful inside and the rooms are full of history. They have special tea dates as well as a good breakfast menu in a fancy dining room.
  2. Story Pueblo Teller Bed & Breakfast - You can take a trip back in history with  Native American decor at this house. You can relax by the fireplace next to some authentic Native American baskets, pottery and weaves from over 55 different tribes. They have AAA, AARP and Military discounts to boot.
  3. Double M & N Bed & Breakfast -  If you like western hospitality and atmosphere, then look no further than this house. You'll enjoy the scenery of the mountain scape with real antelope and deer. Not to mention hiking, fishing, and canoeing just 3 miles away at the Medicine Bow National Forrest. What a great get-a-way.
  4. Vista de la Luna Bed & Breakfast - If you don't mind traveling a bit farther to Laramie, Wyoming, then you just might enjoy this house. This home away from home sits just over 8200 feet above sea level on the Laramie Plains. Not only do the rooms seem comfortable and the good food, but also you'll be close to world class hiking, hunting and mountain biking.
  5. Mad Carpenter Inn - With just 3 rooms for quality, you can enjoy a night a bit away from the UW Campus. The home also has pool table, ping pong, air hockey and darts for your light entertainment. There is piano entertainment as well.

The Top 5 at 7:45 airs weekdays with me, Gary Freeman and sponsored by First Education Federal Credit Union. Which bed & breakfast will you stay at next?
