1 Killed, 3 Injured in Eastern Wyoming Crash
A 57-year-old Illinois man is dead following a two-vehicle crash in eastern Wyoming's Niobrara County.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol says Juzer Chinwalla was fatally injured when the car he was riding in collided with a double-trailer truck at Mule Creek Junction around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.
The Patrol says the semi was turning south onto U.S. Highway 85 from U.S. Highway 18 and the car, which was headed north on U.S. Highway 85, struck the rear trailer.
All of the people in the car were injured and taken to various hospitals. Chinwalla, who was unbuckled in the back seat, died from his injuries.
The Patrol says speed on behalf of the car and failure to yield on behalf of the semi are being investigated as contributing factors.
