Federal judges in Wyoming recently sentenced three men for drug and illegal alien crimes, according to a news release from the Wyoming U.S. Attorney’s Office.

U.S. District Court Judge Scott Skavdahl sentenced Bruce Michael Latorre, 54, of Ferndale, Calif., for interstate travel in aid of a racketeering enterprise and conspiracy to distribute marijuana. Latorre received two years of imprisonment, to be followed by three years of probation. Skavdahl also ordered him to pay a $200 special assessment and $1,800 in restitution.

This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Investigations.

Chief U.S. District Court Judge Nancy Freudentahl sentenced Frisnel Guerrier, 38, of Randolph, Mass., for possession to distribute 50 kilograms — 110 pounds — or more of marijuana. Guerrier was arrested in Cheyenne. He received time served, to be followed by three years of probation. Freudenthal also ordered Guerrier to pay $1,000 in restitution.

This case was investigated by the Wyoming Highway Patrol and the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.

Freudenthal also sentenced Victor Manuel Pol-Ventura, 28, of Joyabaj, Guatemala, for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. He was arrested in Jackson. He received time served, plus 10 days, was ordered to pay a $100 special assessment, and is subject to deportation upon release from custody.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement investigated this case.
